Staycation at The Partridge Inn.

This past Memorial Day Weekend, I had the opportunity to have a mini staycation at the Partridge Inn. Today on the blog, I’m sharing my experience at the hotel and of course tons of photos!

The Partridge Inn is located in the Summerville area of Augusta, Georgia, just miles from the Augusta National Golf Club. The building was constructed in the early 1800’s and has undergone many expansions to transform it into the hotel it is today. What’s unique about the Partridge Inn is that all 143 rooms are completely unique! How cool would it be to stay in a different room every time you visit?

Upon arrival, we were given a tour by Annette Gunnoe, Director of Sales & Marketing. She showed us the property and told us the history of the hotel (including a ghost story!)

I had been to the Partridge Inn once before for an event, but this was my first time staying at the inn. Our room was on the 2nd floor, the same floor as the PI Bar and Grill. I was worried at first that we would be able to hear restaurant noise in our room, but I’m happy to share that our room was quiet and we couldn’t hear any noise coming from the restaurant.

Speaking of the PI Bar and Grill, David and I had the opportunity to eat dinner there on Friday night. I had the Blackened Chicken Pasta and David had the Shrimp and Grits. David and I never have fancy date nights, so it was fun for me to put on a dress and have an upscale date for a change! Our waitress was so sweet and the live music was a nice added touch!

Since Loey stayed the night with me, we got to enjoy a fun girls breakfast on Saturday morning. I had the breakfast buffet and Loey had the French toast. And yes I totally switched seats with her for these photos because her food looked prettier than mine…haha gotta do what you gotta do for the photo am I right??

Another unique feature of the hotel is the roof top bar. The roof top has a panoramic view of Augusta and surrounding areas. You truly feel like you’re in the clouds! The sky was unfortunately cloudy during sunset but we definitely plan on going back!

The pool at the Partridge Inn is tucked away in an interior courtyard that gives just the right amount of privacy to relax and escape the summer heat!

I think my favorite feature of the Partridge Inn would have to be the outside verandah. We had both dinner and breakfast outside on the verandah and, despite the unavoidable Georgia heat, it was so relaxing to eat outdoors. It truly made this staycation feel like a getaway!

Thank you to the Partridge Inn and Pineapple PR for hosting my staycation! I’ll have links below where you can get more information and book your stay!

love always,
